The entire text of the paper is shown below. However, the text is somewhat scrambled. We want to give you as much information as we possibly can about our papers and essays, but we cannot give them away for free. In the text below you will find that while disordered, many of the phrases are essentially intact. From this text you will be able to get a solid sense of the writing style, the concepts addressed, and the sources used in the research paper.
The magazine even provides information about sexideas. Women must lose that excessweight and look good. (2 9). Even as shown onpage 2 1, a male with a female is light haired and feminine looking withhis short blond hair and pose. Thesearticles are accompanied by pictures with male and female models that arelooking good and sexy. Magazine Analysis "Glamour" is the magazine for this analysis. For example, there is an advertisement for adeodorant with a female that looks carefree and sexy (Glamour 2 9: 168).There is also an advertisement about lipstick with a similar type of female(Glamour 2 9: 114). Keeping the body healthy helps avoid being unappealingand guards against sexually-relevant problems. It also portraysmales in this same type of way, featuring masculine and attractive males. Thus, there are no vast distinctions between the two portrayals of malesand females and in some instances, there is barely a difference between thetwo. While the articles and advertisements may appearto be motivating and inspiring, they are actually unrealistic and present apicture that if bought, can only lead to dependency on the magazine forways to "be better." ReferenceGlamour. While there are slight attempts to make the males in thepictures look masculine, they end up looking feminine. Thearticles are about how to be healthy and take care of your body, but thisinformation is key to ensure that the female remains sexually attractive tothe male. Above all, one must be sexually desirable and keep healthy toensure this goal. This advertisement is about clothes and isless sexual than other ads. There is a picture of males and females on page 153in which both are portrayed as attractive and sexy. The magazine's intendedaudience is females ages 2 to 4 years. Thus, the magazine seems to imply that you donot have to be sexual looking all of the time, but you must appearattractive and well dressed. The types of articles written about in this magazine regardinggendered characteristics include those about health, the body, weight, looks, behaviors, attitudes, and sexual roles. The magazine portrays females, inboth articles and ads, in an attractive and sexy manner. For example, articles areabout health, sex, and the body (Glamour 2 9: 135, 258, 236). One must dress with magnificent colors and look good at alltimes. Thus, this magazine tells the reader that one must always beattractive and use whatever deodorant or lipstick is needed to ensure thisoutcome. New York, NY: Glamour. Looking at these pictures and reading the articles tells me aboutgender roles in society, leaving the impression that men and women are tofind a way to look attractive and sexually appealing at all times. Thus, what this magazine is all about is not difficult to determineand its message is clear.
